Welcome to the Steve Rothert website and, thank you for spending

Steve is a Maine artist and traveler. He cultivated his artistic
abilities as a student of several Maine artists, but developed his own
unique style drawing inspiration from the great Maine outdoors. An
avid hiker, he gathers the many moods and seasons of Maine to
record in vibrant watercolors. From the incomparable beauty of
Acadia National Park, vistas of Mount Blue State Park, to the many
enchanting bays and ports, Steve captures the essence of Maine.
Since retiring from the U.S. Navy, he has sought to record some of
the experiences, places, and especially, the people of the U.S.
Armed Forces as a tribute to their true faith and allegiance, and
devotion to duty.
